ONE MORE MILE
I walked and had so much fun, it was great just to be at an event without my belly! I wore my tight little running capris and didn't have to cover up. Next year I will run!!!!!
I had good parking, but such a hard time getting around getting around all the street closures!!
You did good, I'm proud of you. I'm wearing my little boyshorts we bought....have you worn them? Theyre so comfy!
Keep the updates coming if you hear more!
Hugs!

I finished quicker than I anticipated. Michelle T. and I met up with Javi and at the start he took off jogging. Never saw him again. How did you do Javi? We met up w/ Monica at mile 2.?? and she was going strong.
I am now a little sore from climbing stairs yesterday to get to the convention center, but other than that I feel fine.
We took Michelle T. to the bus station and she is on her way home as I am writing, she should be home in about an hour. I am sure she will post soon.
Jackie did not make the race, she had WAAAAYYY too much fun at the concert last night, but she did text Michelle T. and wished everyone walking/running good luck.
I have a few pictures, I will post later. Right now I need to go cook dinner as I have not eaten all day.
Having Michelle T. stay with me for the weekend was nice, and we had a great time getting to really know each other and shared some wonderful conversation.
The meet up dinner was quiet but nice with Michelle T., Monica, myself, and Kim "pudding2day" there for moral support.
After all this, I was able to get home and see the last 2 innings of the Angel Game.
ANGELS SWEEP THE RED SOX - NICE!!!!!
Still praying for a freeway world series.
:) hugs and loves and Wild kids!
Rhonda
You are so very welcome, I'm glad you finished and lived to tell about it. Its funny, I always CRAVE red meat after a long run. I don't know what it is...and yes, the long distance sports really do spark your appetite. Your body needs that fuel though!!
Glad the sport beans kept you going, I was worried you guys would run out of energy out there.
Nice job ladies!!!
Rhonda run out of energy hell no!!! Not with what she does during the day, I am sure that it was just a walk in the park for her! Monica, it was fun Friday night, and you were so cute worrying about those older women walking. They were ready to go and I am so proud of all of you. I will be there next year....if I am not there walking, I will be there on the sidelines yelling my head off for you all.
Love to you, Diane
