I walked and had so much fun, it was great just to be at an event without my belly! I wore my tight little running capris and didn't have to cover up. Next year I will run!!!!!

I had good parking, but such a hard time getting around  getting around all the street closures!!

You did good, I'm proud of you. I'm wearing my little boyshorts we bought....have you worn them? Theyre so comfy!

This is just so awesooooome!  How inspiring....in honor of all those doing the marathon, I walked my home rountine double, making my walk here 3 miles ^_^   Diane, I think it is just so neat that you all keep in touch..the miracle of cell phones eh? LOL  Now we just need Annette and Michelle to check in...and anyone else who was walking, jogging, or running.

Keep the updates coming if you hear more!
Hugs!

We did it.  We finished.  My official time was 1:03:28 which also included me stopping to take a picture with Forrest Gump.

I finished quicker than I anticipated.  Michelle T. and I met up with Javi and at the start he took off jogging.  Never saw him again.  How did you do Javi?  We met up w/ Monica at mile 2.?? and she was going strong.

I am now a little sore from climbing stairs yesterday to get to the convention center, but other than that I feel fine.

We took Michelle T. to the bus station and she is on her way home as I am writing, she should be home in about an hour.  I am sure she will post soon.

Jackie did not make the race, she had WAAAAYYY too much fun at the concert last night, but she did text Michelle T. and wished everyone walking/running good luck.

I have a few pictures, I will post later.  Right now I need to go cook dinner as I have not eaten all day.

Having Michelle T. stay with me for the weekend was nice, and we had a great time getting to really know each other and shared some wonderful conversation.

The meet up dinner was quiet but nice with Michelle T., Monica, myself, and Kim "pudding2day" there for moral support.

After all this, I was able to get home and see the last 2 innings of the Angel Game.

ANGELS SWEEP THE RED SOX - NICE!!!!!

Still praying for a freeway world series.

We made it and thanks so much everyone for the wonderful support you gave us before/during/after the walk.  I must say this was one of the most incredible weekends I have ever spent.  All my gal pals were there!  You guys were awesome!  WE were only missing a few gal pals, but they were there in spirit and through TEXT.  It was incredible.  I almost peed my pants it was so fun.  I want to thank each and everyone of you and you all know who you are that made this weekend so specail.  MONICA I want to personally thank you for all of your love and support!  YOu are a committed lady, or should I say need to be committed (only Kidding!  I promise not to send the men in the little white coats after you)  (crap maybe I will if they are cute)  OK back on target.  Monica really helped us with all of her advice and support.  Those damn jelly beans are amazing.  I think there are drugs in them I really do.   WEll I got my hot shower and my hubby is coming home with RoadHOuse for me to chow down on as I am starving, have been since I got up this morning and I am still starving!  Jean knows I ate all darn day and could not get full.  Then we sit down to a meal and It is wrong, long story but it worked out.  Jean I am getting my tri tip now as it should arrive any minute.  Well I think I hear the car so I better go out and get my food!   I love you guys and thanks for everything this weekend I had an amazing time!

:) hugs and loves and Wild kids!

You are so very welcome, I'm glad you finished and lived to tell about it. Its funny, I always CRAVE red meat after a long run. I don't know what it is...and yes, the long distance sports really do spark your appetite. Your body needs that fuel though!!

Glad the sport beans kept you going, I was worried you guys would run out of energy out there.

Nice job ladies!!!

Rhonda run out of energy hell no!!!  Not with what she does during the day, I am sure that it was just a walk in the park for her!  Monica, it was fun Friday night, and you were so cute worrying about those older women walking.  They were ready to go and I am so proud of all of you.  I will be there next year....if I am not there walking, I will be there on the sidelines yelling my head off for you all.

Love to you, Diane
